Silly question of the day, when I received rear braided brake lines for my 1GB AWD, 2 were short and 2 were long. Do the longs ones attach to the caliper and the short ones to the hard line, or visa versa? My car has been torn apart for a long time, putting it back together with some custom bracket mounts and I was curious. thanks!

IIRC, long is the top, short is the bottom to caliper.

Sidenote, did you get new hard lines back to the rear from the valve in the engine bay (because they look new)?

Good Idea on doing new hard lines, also the small is to Caliper Long is to main line off hard line, on most aftermarket SS Brake line kits. It is going to really firm up your pedal and feel way less spongy after you bleed it all. Nice coil over setup too. What kinda brake calipers are you going with and pads? Cross drilled rotors really help keep down the heat, and slotted deglazes and makes pad have a cleaner bite and room for dust and gases to, I just notice less life than OEM but not greatly.

In the rear I am just using stock sized rotors and calipers, EBC Brakes USR7109, they are slotted but not cross drilled. I am using Centric 105.03290 pads, not a whole lot of options for the rear from my research.

Up front I have 13.1" EBC (same USR Series) slotted rotors with 4 piston 3KGT VR4 calipers (might down grade to 2 pot Cobra rotors if I don't like the way the wheels line up with the fender from the wheel spacers I had to use to clear the calipers), pad manufacturer and part number I have not figured out yet.

This car is a complete restoration project for me, it hasn't run in over 10 years. It's a really extensive project as my little hobby. I should start a build thread but just don't have the time. I am finishing up the chassis now, then the engine bay over the winter, then off to the body shop after that.
