One of my fuel lines is leaking and it has the braided steel around it. Can I reuse the steel line and just buy a new hose or do I have to buy another braided steel line and hose. Auto Zone has one for like 25 bucks steel and hose or 2 bucks just for hose. Thanks

Replace it with pushlock style hose and get the correct fitting's and you shouldnt have a problem....

Looks like you have a worm clamp around a steel braided line, that will not seal well. Is that where the leak is coming from? If so, you need to buy a normal rubber hose, or run a push-lock -AN fitting of some sort.

Don't be cheap, fuel line is important.

This looks to be the line that runs to the AFPR, correct? If so, remove it & take more pix so we may help you further.

looks like the line that rune from the rail to the fpr. id say the problem is the worm clamp.. that lines sees quite a bit of pressure. id say get some a.n. fittings and do it the right way.

I do have a.n. fittings to install, I just took that picture to show the braided steel. It's the hose that runs from the hard fuel line to under the afpr. The question was do I have to replace the braided steel or reuse it and just replace the hose.

If it is leaking from the hose end and you have enough extra line to trim it back a few inches with some type of cutting wheel try that. If you cannot trim it and make it fit, then you buy a new 2ft section(or whatever you need) of braided line..

I wouldnt mess around with your fuel line. Just get a new one. Will save you money in the long run me thinks
