My car has an awfull bad fuel smell i think i have a leak under the car so im installing stainless steel braided lines. I know these lines are expensive but a local hydraulic center i can found them cheaper.

I want -8an fuel line from pump to fuel filter (correctme if im wrong) but is the 1/2 in fuel lines equals -8an fuel line? can I use -8an fittings to 1/2 hose? Also for the return line i will be using -6an equivalent, witch one is it and the same thing (eqivalent)?, can i use -6an equivalent hose with a xrp -6an fitting?

i did some research but i will like to see more pics of fuel sistems setups and more info about the modification i need to do on the fuel pump adapter.

I was also thinking on a aftermarket fuel rail, maybe the AEM, Aeromotive, Magnus one but i found the obx one on ebay, ( i know the quality of other obx products)but a fuel rail seems to be a simpler product should i trust this one from obx?

OK correct me if im wrong..

I need
15 foot from the tank to the engine
15 foot from engine the the tank
-8an are equivalent to 1/2 inch
-6an are equivalent to 5/16 inch
all fittings needed to conect the hoses fuilter and fuel rail
I can use xrp -anstyle fittings to the 5/16 and 1/2 hoses

-6 is equal to 3/8.

The -an system is based off 16ths,
-2an = 2/16ths
-4an = 4/16ths
and so forth
