1ga to 1gb

I'm am wondering how well the rocker panels and door jams from a 1gb will for a 1ga. My rocker panels are pretty much gone and I can get new ones cut, and a friend who is learning how to weld said he will install them for free. I am just unsure if there exact matches

I've welded a lot of patches on multiple vehicles there's actually a new product called fusor that's just as strong as a weld but its more of a glue which means you don't have to worry about heat warping anything you will need a metal crimper though

yup they'll work man, exact same chassis only difference is the fenders, bumpers and head lights. definitely a must for before and after pics! I need to do the exact same thing.

I am going to pull the side skirt off tomorrow, I dont have the panels yet. But just to keep out moisture I am going to fiberglass. I used that on a couple other spots on my car with good success. I am waiting for the panels there being shipped from one of those states were rust does not exsist. I am debating between the fusor stuff or just finding someone to weld it in. It will cost 100+ for all the materials, it would probobly be cheaper to have someone weld it in.

Here are just some pics of the passanger side, which is the worse side. I spend about 9 hours cutting and grinding, and that is only the rear hole, I still need to get the one by the front fender and replace that fender as well. Good news is I am getting it all welded in for free, a close friend of mine step dad rebuilds muscle cars and is going to do it for me. Currently I have a really bad looking fiberglass patch that still needs a couple more layers and a good sanding to look decent until I get the doner panels. By the end of the day i have a pretty heavy coat of protection down to prevent this again.
