Anyone know if it can be done? Or have or know where a right up is

Looking to switch the front end of my car from a 1ga to 1gb?

i have a complete 1gb car, but want to use my 1ga shell which is missing all the front end

Never seen this swap done before personally. I have seen rear tail light swaps before.
It looks like it might be tough being that they are completely different headlight assemblies and such but I could be wrong.

If you have the parts then i'd take a stab at it and see how far you get with it. Hey maybe you can make a write up and throw it up on here. Would be cool to see.

1ga to 1gb conversion is pretty simple. Hood, fenders, bumpers, headlights. Basically a bolt on swap, self explanatory. Now a 1gb to 1ga swap is a completely different story.

I've seen it done a few times. It's very doable, especially since you have a whole donor car. The wiring is the hardest part. You might be able to use the whole donor harness into the fuse block, that would be ideal. Everything else is pretty straight forward.

Once you strip the other front end down you will see which brackets need to come off the core support in order to change to the sealed housings. Remove the existing brackets and bolt in or rivet the donor brackets on. Them simply bolt everything into place.
