1GA HID Projectors?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Neither of the last two posts are HID projectors.
You need to swap in a projector meant for HIDs and it's hard to do on square housings do to lack of room.

There is a HID projector how there that sells for around 400-500 bucks and it lacks the high beams... Do i really want to buy that?

Your right that the 1GA's lack in space in the headlamp hosing. I could hack it to make a hid projector fit in there but :|

The combo that I got is not too bad... there is a cut off for the light beam. the HID is 4300k so its not super blinding. Also this set up is fairly cheap, Well in the future I may hack up the using and find the smallest projectors and convert it.

I might try to get some night shot of it later on in the day.

400-500? That's why over priced.

Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) - Complete Kits from The Retrofit Source LLC - Everything you need for $275, email and they might be able to cut you a deal on shipping. Matt is a great guy.

It is still hard to fit in the 4x6 housing. It almost, almost, almost fits by dropping it in and cutting the back of the 4x6 a decent amount. Only way it will fit is mounting it on the back of the housing from the outside and sealing it up somehow....
I know..

I do have the Pegasus Jr prototypes though, and those have just low's, no highs. They're not 400-500. Theyre up there in price at I believe 300 shipped, but that's with the bulbs, ballasts, and housings.
With the pictures of the glass on, it's actually touching the projectors lense.

I will make them fit though :). Once I do i'll figure out a way to retrofit them quicker.
