Is the fel-pro water pump gasket good or should I stick with oem?

The Fel-pro gasket should be fine so long as both mating surfaces are clean and free of existing gasket material. For a little extra piece of mind, you could use copper spray gasket. It also helps the gasket stay in place during install. The o-ring that goes on the water pipe will need to be coated with water/coolant upon install of the water pump.
