1G Trailing Arms

I have a big crack in one of my trailing arms, and a new one is a pretty penny. Why are there not any aftermarket or custom trailing arms floating around? The image the dealer gave me looks like the trialing arm is also part of the rear knuckle/hub, is this why there are none floating around? This would be an awesome modification if it can be done. Can these be made from tubular steel to be more adjustable? I am no fabricator so I just want some opinions if it is worth thinking about having some built.

Yes, the trailing arms are part of the hub assembly, this is probably part of why no one has made and aftermarket version, the only upgrades available for this part are Poly bushing or a Heim joint (both will improve toe change thru wheel travel – bump steer).

As for the cracked unit, you may by able to repair it by getting it welded, or replace it with a used part depending if you have a decent junkyard nearby.
