1g talon Transmission removal

I'm currently in the process of removing my entire engine on my 1993 Talon.

I don't have an engine lift, but i am renting one next week, would it be easier to take the tranny off now or just take if off when i lift the engine?

do motor and trans together, I prefer to drop the cross members and lower the engine/trans onto a dolly, but one to his own.

Do it all at one time, eventhough ive took mine off numerous times without the engine.

pull it all in one...it's alot easier to disconnect the tranny out of the car then it is in the car.
