2G transmission removal

hello i am replacing my clutch and i swear i removed all the bolts. but the tranny dont wanna seperate from my motor. can anyone give me a bolt locations.

Look from the motor side. I'm pretty sure there Is a bolt coming from the other side of the tranny. Give that a shot.

yes there is a smaller bolt coming into the trans from the engine side right around the area of the motor mount...

you have removed your t-case already right?

well i read alot and it said u dont have to remove ## transfer case i removed the drive shaft

You should pull the transfer case off the tranny. And sometimes the can be a little tough because the trannys input shaft will kind of seize in the clutch. If all the bolts are out you may have to take a screwdriver and pry it apart.

But, remove the transfer case.

Remove transfer case, flywheel inspection plate, make sure all five bolts are off (and that transmission is supported!). If you miss a bolt, there could be problems. Mine came loose with a little wiggle, but you could carefully pry it from the block with a screwdriver. This illustration may help.

remove the transfer case....this is the same problem i had and when i removed the tcase the tranny basically popped off

Yea definately take the tcase off. Idk if your using transmission jack but I couldnt imagine trying to balance both tranny and tcase on a regular floor jack like i do.

You drain everything too? Those are some mighty large chucks of metal your pulling off the car, you may really have to give a big grunt to separate it from the motor.

The screwdriver technique works wonders too, get a sharp flat head between the motor and trans in a few places and pop it with a hammer
