I have 2 91 talons, both awd. I took the starter and harness out of one and put it on my project car (due to it being less than a year old) but I can't find the pig tail to connect it to. I know were it is on my other car and I traced the wires but its seems there in diffrent spots. I can't find it at all. One is a auto and the other is a 5 speed of that matters.

Different connector between auto and manual vehicles. This is the '91 park/neutral switch which is also the connector for the starter: 1G DSM 4G63 Turbo Wiring Harness - Connector B25.

After that connector, there is an intermediate connector between it and the starter, seen -- but labeled incorrectly -- here: 1G DSM 4G63 Turbo Wiring Harness - Connector Unknown-AT-Related-2.

Note that there are different park/neutral switch connectors for different model years as well so if yours doesn't look like that, it may not be a '91.

Mine looks like the second one, so essentially I can't use a auto starter harness on a 5speed?

Ok so my next question is would a n/t 5 speed be the same? Its easier finding those in the junkyard then a Turbo 1g

The distinction between the starter harnesses for a given model year 1G are the 2 and 4 plug for auto and manual, respectively. Any N/T 1G with a 5-speed should have the correct starter harness for any other 1G 5-speed.

Thanks for the info
