Hey Guys,

During my SBR FMIC setup it told me to remove the power steering cooler and loop the hoses WTF . Should I find a way to mount this again after the install or can I just leave it off? Will it hurt anything? Thanks in advance!

I have the SBR FMIC and I replaced my power steering cooler bar with an actually tube and fin type cooler from autozone.

However, I know plenty of people that have simply looped the lines together with no problems, even on long, hot road trips.

What I did is bought some pushon union type fittings which allowed my to simply extend the hoses, and route them just a slightly different way to steer clear of the IC and all piping.

Here is a pic you can see my power steering cooler hanging down under the IC.

Depends on what you plan to use the car for. I drag race and just drive mine so for now it has no cooler just looped lines. If you plan on autox or road racing then putting in a cooler is a must. If that is your plan then I would upgrade anyway and go the route Project has gone.
