i heard that the sbr race core was the same as the kinetics motorsports kit. i was wondering if there is any truth to this? even the descriptions of the two are the same.

Ok, you have to have a Front Mount, but you're just not sure what you need. Well here you have it. The definitive answer to your question. Our core, measuring 24" long, 12" high and 3.5" wide, will cool anything you'd like to throw at it. It also uses the shortest pipe routing of any we've seen. Straight down under the intake pipe and out beside the radiator core. If you like your fog lights, don't worry, they'll fit with just a little pushing on their brackets. The end tanks are designed with you in mind. The core only hangs a half inch below your bumper, so unless you're already in the weeds, no need to worry.

We can polish the core itself and all the piping for an additional $300.

Kinetics make the fmic's. If you order one for them or from SBR, you get some paperwork inside that say's Kinetic as well as a sticker on the box. If I remember correctly Kinetic is in Canada, and I was speaking with Jon at SBR one day, and he says they are the only vendor in the US allowed to market and sale the FMIC. SBR gets the kits from Kinetic, and then weld on whatever type BOV flange you want on the piping.

slowboy was supposed to design the frontmount, and hired kinetic to make them. At least thats what Mike says.

100% correct, Kinetic Motorsports was spawned from ADP Distributors about four years ago to bring my ideas (as well as SBR's) to market for us. They do manufacture all of our FMIC kits that we sell as our own.

It has been a fantastic relationship, with the exception of letting Vaneer drive the rental vehicles every time I am up there :nono: Trailblazers and water pump pullies, haha... he has not broke a Volvo yet!

Mike, you've actually been to Kinetic? What did you think of our little corner of the world? Let me guess, it was raining.

I have been there many times, I fly into Seattle and drive up... believe it or not, has only rained once or twice when I have been there!

Beautiful up in the NW US... I like it more each time I visit!

I live about 25 minutes from Kinetic, which border crossing do you take?
