Not going to be able to test for another 2 weeks but maybe someone can chime in here.

I have 2 ecus one auto and one manual .
Now both my ecus throw a cel when the keys turned showing there functioning. I rebuilt them both and have rebuilt around 10 with out issue. Car runs and drives perfectly fine no issues.

I noticed that sometimes the factory boost gauge goes to 0 on startup and other times it just slowly goes up to 0 and sometimes doesn't make it all the way to zero . Also I get zero hz when logging and I get a bunch of random codes (BOTH ECUS DO IT)

Cant log anything except check engine codes, bad diagnoses port? The fact both ecus do this make me think it's a cable issue .

When my car blew up I screwed around with the mpi relay and a few pins on the obd1 port

Any input welcome this has been bothering me all winter.

I will post an update when the sn0ws all gone and I can drive it . Just looking for ideas ,bad cable? I think actually have issues logging my tcu also so its gotta be something unrelated to the ecu . One thing logs and that's timing but maybe I,ve mixed up the obd1 wires

On a side note made a boost leak tester ROFL 25 $

Its giving me codes for a bunch of stuff yet (some are not even for my car ?)it doesn't throw a check engine light (only at start up like its suppose to) at all also I have to scan for codes to see them not giving a cel through the cluster .

I'm puzzled did I accidentally hook the palm up to my cruise control?

Are you sure your mass air sensor is good? It does sound like a cable issue on the Palm Pilot, have you re-installed the Palm logger software? how about trying to datalog on someone elses Dsm?

I'll have to reinstall it I think and double check the world , the car runs like a dream but I'll double check the 7th maf wire also, I get weird readings I wish I took a log but I'll get one when the cars on The road
