General 1g n/a ecu in talon tsi?

So yeah just bought this car about a week ago. The guy I bought it from just told me I wouldn't run and had sat for up to six years. I went through to get it up to running standards and then it would start but it was a very hard start so I checked more of the car repaired a bad ect sensor wiring job still no luck. Now I pulled the ecu today and took a look at it and noticed its Epsom but no knock board so I ran the numbers on the ecu (MD304481. It came back as a non turbo ecu, I'm guessing this is the cause of the hard start issue what do you guys think?

So what is the new car? I can't imagine someone would go through the work to adapt an 1G NA ECU to your 95 so I'm guessing some flavor of 1G.

A 1G NA ECU in a 1G Turbo will start usually but it's not going to run very well since the ECU thinks it has 210cc injectors and it really has almost 100% bigger ones so it's going to get almost twice the fuel it expects when it fires an injector.

I've converted a few NA EPROM ECUs in the past but the missing knock board is a good sign that it's still an NA ECU.

It's in a 1g, it acts like its flooding itself with this ecu. Do you have any turbo ecu laying around for sale?

That's what you think it is. I'd send it in an get it converted to a turbo ECU.
