First... is a 1g head, stock with a bent valve worth $60?

Secondly What all is involved in swapping the 1G head onto a stock 2G 4G63?
I.E. CMP, ECT, and other sensors, as well as any mechanical issues like clearences, bolt patterns, ect.

Im going to do all the work, just trying to get a heads up before i jump into it
thanks for the help :dsm:

Here is a link that tells you exactly how to do a 1g head swap on a 2g.

As for the 1g head for $60, if it is complete and keeps good compression without burning oil, its worth it. You can just pop out the corresponding valve from your 2g head and put it in the 1g. If you have a valve spring compressor (home-made or the actual tool) its maybe a 5-10 minute job for someone who hasn't done it before.

You use a 1g lower radiator hose, it will match right up to the bottom of your radiator. Some people run into issues with the shifter couter-weight hitting the hose, but I haven't had problems with that with my 6-bolt swap.

Thanks for the info but no link.

Sorry, somehow it didn't go through. RamenPride posted the link I tried to.

isnt that kinda nessary? and how do you cut it off?

Its just a couter weight to aid shifting and is not needed. I would use a cut-off wheel to remove it, either air powered or a large electric one. Before you go hacking it off, I would try to put it together leaving the weight first. Then if it becomes a problem you can remove it. As I posted earlier, it wasn't a problem for me so I left mine.

it seems like it hits the hose when i try to put in on. its in reverse i think. ill double check before i cut it off.
