I understand that 1g AWD and FWD turbo FP's are the EXACT SAME with only the assembly being different? Does that mean it doesn't matter at all when buying a used stock FP? Just swap to my existing assembly at install? Asking because I was thinking about buying a cheap used one to carry with me on a long trip as a spare.

Btw what is the next upgrade in 1g FP's from stock and how much can I get one of those used?

I have a 1g FWD turbo car. I uderstand that AWD 1g's use the same fuel pump BUT there's a different assembly used. As such, If I bought a used FP from AWD car would it simply be a matter of swapping assemblies to my FWD unit? Because I'm thinking about buying a good used 1g FP to keep as a spare and if I see a cheap used AWD FP available wondering if it's easy to swap those assemblies out to my FWD unit.

Also, what is the next updrade of FP fo stock 1g's and how much do cheap used ones generally go for?

You can get a walboro 190 fp..They don't require a aftermarket FPR or rewire..But the rewire would be a good idea down the road if you plan on upgrading further..

Thanks. I already have the FP rewire done. How much does a used walbro 190 generally go for?

My stock FP is good now and I don't THINK I need more than a stock FP to run 15 lbs boost so should I just get a dirt cheap used stocker to have around as a spare? Will stock FP always keep up with 450cc injectors because I really don't have any plans on going past free/cheap mods.

Ok I might buy a cheap used stock FP to have as a spare. If I get AWD pump will it just be a matter of swapping the assembly for my FWD turbo car?

The pumps are the same, the assemblys are different.

Ok so if I'm on a long trip far from home and my FWD pump goes bad and I have a spare AWD pump with me it will be no problem to swap assmeblies and plug the other pump in?

You would keep the your FWD assembly and then just put in the AWD pump. The assembly is what holds the pump, float, wiring, hanger, etc... The pump just sits inside the assembly. I would look into a used EVO8/9 fuel pump. They will flow more than factory, more than the 190lph I believe, and still don't need an AFPR.
