1G 1g fuel pump question.

i know this is kinda dumb but is there anyway i can get a 1g awd fuel pump to work on a 1g fwd? i know the main part is the plug that adapts and the fuel pump itself but has anyone done it? the reason being is that my friend has a walbro 255 he is no longer using and willing to give it to me for my project fwd...

It will work. The only difference is the inlet is moved about an inch over to the other side of the pump body.

i guess i need to go into further detail for you. i bought this car for 300 dollars and im not made of money. im completly re-doing my panda bear and just looking for a little kick in the pants bargan car. if someone is willing to give me a fuel pump that will with stand whatever the car will take for the FREE 90 FREE im gonna take it. this all depeands on if it works or not...

If you can't just sell it and buy an evo pump. They are cheap. You wouldn't have to worry about fuel over run then.

im not too worried about fuel over run being that i have a spair fuel pressure regulator at the house just waiting to be bolted on....
