Resolved 1g Engine bay fuse box

I’m in the process of removing everything from the engine bay so I can paint it. I pulled the harness through the drivers side but obviously I can’t pull the fuse box through the hole. I’ve been looking at the back of the fuse box for a minute but not sure if it’s easier to disconnect everything from behind. What are my options here?

Well it looks like I have to depin every wire in the fuse box

Disconnect all necessary connections from the junction box on the inside and pull it through the firewall into the engine bay. Don't depin the fuse box.

@19Eclipse90 hey Brian! Does the dash have to come out to get this through the engine bay? It the harness that’s under the wiper motor

I've always pulled it. However, I'm pretty certain I've read on here that it doesn't have to come out, but I've never done it myself. Makes sense that it could, I've just never had to try.

Seems like I can get the harness out without taking the dash out. I’ll give it a shot. Thanks Brian!!

It runs directly to the ecu and most likely the center console. I have inputs wired to ecu so I won’t be pulling the harness out
