Curious if someone could tell me if these look like factory capacitors in 92 tsi ecu. Also a tiny bit of residue under the light blue one maybe left over from before if these are replacement capacitors. Looks to clean to be original. Any insight would help.

I can see clearly that the center smaller one has never been replaced- that is undisturbed factory solder. The best way to tell is to pull the board from the bottom cover, and look at the underside. Don't be scuffing your feet on the carpet when you do it. :^) All of the original solder joints should have a consistent color and amount of shine. If the capacitor has been replaced, you will see evidence of the solder work on the underside- the joints that have been reworked will look different- usually more shiny, shaped differently, and possibly a ring of yellow/brown solder flux residue left around the solder joints. Given that at least ONE is original, I would order a replacement kit and just have all three swapped with brand new. No idea why someone would change only one, and leave older ones in place- new, superior capacitors are so cheap and it's GOOD insurance.

The two replaced ones are now obvious. But that little guys seems to be factory. Plus that one has some orange residue. Probably safe bet to replace them all. Just ordered them through the link Parks gave me earlier. Thanks
