so i bought a cam angle sensor and this was the clip i was given, it fits but it definitely isnt the right one, if i build the harness to plug into my 2g with this will it work??

That plug you're using was originally for the TPS sensor. It's just 'keyed' slightly different is all, it will work fine. Only thing is, the wire colors are different and that's a bummer for 'attention to minute detail' people like me .

Put the plug on the CAS and compare it to RRE diagram/pictorial, that should clear up any confusion. Make sure your connections are very clean and crimped/soldered...whatever together. After all, they are sensitive signals. I actually used adhesive backed copped over the wires for the crank sensor and soldered a piece of the ground wire to the copper. My wires were close to the coilpacks so that's my reasoning.

By the way, did you know Kiggly racing makes a custom crank sensor to bolt up to your 6bolt engine ?
