will it work? ive got a locked up bleeder screw and want to simply change them out with some spare 1g calipers ive got but dont know if it will work and dont want to get out in the cold just to find out it wont.

I'm not 100% sure with n/t but a common swap for 1g is to use 2g calipers because 2g are bigger and dual piston. So they'd be reversable as well but you'de need the rotors aswell.

Brake line shouldn't be a problem. Mitsu changed them but it was between generations. You may have to take the outer line from the 1g and swap it with the 2g.
