1g BOV question

I have a 1996 talon tsi awd. People are saying its a good idea to upgrade to the stock 1g bov because even stock I will have a boost leak with the 2g bov? How hard is it to swap these blow off valves?

you just need a new piece of intercooler pipe with the 1g flange or a 2g bov to 1g adapter flange if they even make that.

Oh and of course the BOV itself.

Yes thats all you need get a flange for it, and hook it up, the 1gs ae better 2gs are plastic crap.

get a greddy or tial much better then 1g and nicer to look at aswell

1g BOVs are waaaay cheaper than a Tial or GReddy and hold a lot of boost so if price is a factor get the 1g.

Foolproof to 18psi (if not more) in stock form.

Will hold 23-25 psi when crushed, 30+ when Dodge Garage Modded.

Mine is crushed and holds 20 PSi strong. Definitely a cheap and effective BOV when crushed or Dodge Garage modded.
