Hi everyone,

I have been having some idle surge issues with my 1G Laser. I have been trouble shooting that problem, and it's idling much better but still not up to par.

I replaced the TB with one referb from that crazy throttlebodys.com guy, and put a new black plastic ISC.

I noticed that I have not heard my BOV making its "woosh" noise anymore. So I was wondering if anyone thinks it could be broken and causing some problems.

Anyone know some symptoms of a BOV not working? would I know for sure if it was a problem?

I still have it running to the intake, so I'm sure the noise is muffled a lot, but I remember hearing it a lot when I first got my 1G. Now I can't remember hearing it for awhile now. Did I just get used to it? I think not.

Ideas?

LoL, how funny.

I'm not sure if it's crushed. I think it's just stock.

I think I might have some vac leaks, I have yet to do a test.

It makes a lite "ff" noise when I shift, it's not wooshing anymore.

Hmm, I need to do a dam vac leak test...

Edit:
That "ff" noise that I think is the BOV, I'm not thinking is just the turbo unspooling. :/

Is it a fluttering noise?

Nope.

I'm thinking I will be putting on my MAFT setup this weekend or the next. That might help if I have vac leaks. Then I'll just do a vac test after that. Until then, I dunno what the prob is. When I was replacing my TB, I moved around the rubber hose that was connected to the BOV metal tube and maybe it got damaged? Sigh... That's a big maybe too.
