1g BOV

So ive decided to get an uncrushed 1g BOV... do i need any other accessories to install it like a flange? or can i just remove the old one and bolt this one on? also, where the hell can i find one?

You'll need a flange. Don't even bother with the stock IC plastic and hose piping. Upgrade to a metal one with a flange on a 1g pre-welded.

Now you have to ask yourself what your plans for the car are.

Products are different depending if you:
Ever want to go FMIC,
Short or long route,
GM MAF.

No point in buying replicate parts.
If you want to stay mostly stock, a simple upper IC pipe from a reputable, site-sponsoring vendor just as dejon tool will do the trick.

It is on the same pipe that your BOV is on now; you replace it. The stock 2g BOV is located on the upper intercooler pipe.

Eventually i WILL go FMIC. Probably not for another year or so im guessing though.

When you crush it, it gives more pressure on the spring, therefore keeping it from opening prematurely.

You can purchase an UICP flanged for a 1G BOV from Dejon or RRE and several other vendors. I would purchase an uncrushed 1G BOV and do the DGM to it (see link below). 1G BOVs are easily found in the classified sections and craigslist. The ones on ebay tend to cost more. New ones can be purchased at JNZTuning or Dejon.
