1G blow off valve removal

Ok so to remove a 1G BOV can you just unbolt the bracket that it's attached to on the hard intake piping piece and unhook the hoses from it and then it's free to pull out? I need to know ASAP because I'm going over to a guy's house and he said he'd let me take it as long as I could get it off. He was saying something weird about it being hooked up and I haven't seen a 1G before so I'm just making sure that's all there is and there's nothing weird about taking one off. Thanks

There are two 12vmm bolts, 1 vacuum line, and 1 recirc hose. If you can't take off a BOV you should give up cars.

Gotta say I have always enjoyed watching your videos that you have posted wether it pertains to something I'm interested in or not. I was a little dissapointed with this one though as I was hoping to see the inner workings of the SSQV and the installation of the recircualtion fitting onto it. Even though I don't have one it was still neat to watch until that wasn't in there

Yeah I agree. That guy was an idiot. It was simple as heck to take off. It took like five minutes I don't know why he was having problems.

i just got back from the bar and i came across this thread and watched the video and when i heard "that would ####in' suck" about the plastic tube i lost it.
