What did you guys think of the liberty gearbox? Did it hold up well before it broke?

It shifted really well actually. We did a 3-2 at 130 so that was pretty awesome (14,539 rpm according to the AEM). It blew 4th off but to be fair we only had the face plated gear set (new gears with dogs instead of synchros) and not a full dog set like the PPG.

The 1-2 section is still in the tranny that was in the Sand Talon since we needed a quick 1-2.

My name is Steve and this is my account. I want to apologize to Luke and the ER racing guys for the drama that was started on here. We were drinking at my house and a mutual friend of mine and Trevors got on to my computer and started all the drama. I wasnt really made aware that it had gotten bad till just a bit ago. I personly never am on here very much anymore and if i am its in the turbo tech and fabrication section so i had no real idea all this was going on. I work 55+hour weeks so i dont have time to deal with all this drama. Rich is the guy on my account and we pretty much are no longer friends due to this. So once again, I am apologizing to anyone who took offense to anything that was said in this thread and especialy all the guys at ER.

I agree 100% with Lucas on this, any type of elevation change as well as temp will need changes even with SD setup. Without logging every pull on a 500hp+ car is pure stupidity on the part of the driver. The clip on the TPS was not there, how do you think your car tossed cookies? Even a slight intermittent signal can lean it out and blow a HG from engine vibration/shock of shifting gears(hard auto hits).

I can't believe hes trash talking Lucas, obvious statements and reasoning thrown out the window? get a clue!
