thank you Lucas English and Team at English Racing. Got the junk box back up and running the new motor and a little more weight out it. Just did two passes at Woodburn drag strip. Low timing and keeper her safe. Still managed two passes at 10.26 and 10.23 with the little HTA68. Maybe once the motor is broke in we can set it on kill one time and try for a 9.8 with the little turbo that could. :)

Any idea on the weight of the car as it sits now?

Funny you should ask :). we put it on the scale and it came in at #2320. Wish we would have weighed it before the extra weight was taken out. If lucas's memory serves him right, it was right about #2400 before.

Lets see the inside, i don't understand how that car can be so light!

The hta68 was a huge improvement over the e316g. We trapped 122 on the E3 and no changes not even tune the HTA went 125mph. This was in a 2950lb 5spd car at high elevation.

If I can trap 126 on a 14b I wonder what the HTA would do in this car sitting around 2050lb with driver.

Looking forward to see how well your car does this year.

Thats insane, what all was taken out?

There a pics all ready posted. U will need to search please. If can find time to take some pics i will. Other than the typical take everything out the car stuff, it has a 2 gallon fuel cell, light weight race steering wheel, mini battery, solid chromoley (sp) steering shaft and some other little detials. Yes. the car is gutted. This is a race car. NOT a street car. thanx

I'd like to see the steering shaft if thats not to much to ask.

His steering shaft and wheel is a direct copy of mine, same with the fuel cell. the car weighed in at 2390 prior to mods, we still have the MAD lower arms to do which is another 10lbs. mine came in with all the new added in, dry sump blah blah blah, 2310.

Well last week I was looking at mine and trying to figure a way to ditch the factory column adjuster. There looks to be a lot of weight savings there. I did hit your guy up about the lower arms but he doesn't frequent fb very much. I'm down to 1864lbs with still a front glass window.

I'm really curious to see what is gutted and what has been taken off. I can only imation what's off and what has been changed? I'm sure your a busy person but when you get a chance. Please post some pix or maybe even a link you be great.
