100% guaranteed fact or your money back! I have been as diligent as I can with documenting everything on this. I know I won't remember every little thing I did and I know this will pay dividends when it comes to troubleshooting or doing another build down the line. Also helps with getting feedback too which I love because this is my first DSM and first engine build, so when someone on here says a better way to do something I'm all for it!Documentation is always your friend. Your doing a great job so far, just keep that up!
If you measure it, record it. You might thank yourself later if any issues come up. That's the reason I do it.
Right on man that's awesome! I'm hoping to find more people in the area, especially once the car is out and about. I just saw a nice, white 2g going down the road and I waved him on to do a pass by me. I saw him in the rear view and had to do it. The guy did not disappoint and it made me happy to think that will be me hopefully soon. There is also a guy in my area that I talk to a lot with a very nice evo 1! Beautiful car I tell you.Yeah ive made a lot of friends on this site two local rafal, and paul volk near me and i get with them from time to time for parts and stuff.
Much appreciated man! I was hand writing my notes from the start of the project but figured why not create a visual aid to go with it and ended up with the thread how it is now. I know I will need it down the road because hand writing stuff can only go so far some times.Love seeing all the photos with the text descriptions, and the videos. Great job documenting everything.
Thank you man I appreciate it! I'm really trying to do it as best I can with what I got hahaVery thorough job
Thank you man I appreciate it! That's what I'm going for with this! With all the time I spend going through the forums and FSM I want to centralize and share what I have found (because it can get messy haha). With going through the whole car I figured I might as well share what I got but make it so people can give feedback so we can all learn because I need it (and since this is my first DSM and full car rebuild I don't think I'm qualified to write these as tech articles and hope people will give me feedback on this on what I messed up haha).I love how your progress reports on this car are basically technical articles on how to do the work. It's amazing and useful
Thank you man I really appreciate it! And man I tell you I'm a huge spazz myself haha. This has been a challenge but so fun and I can't wait for the engine to finally be inYou’re doing just fine, I will be referencing this stuff along with much other stuff with my paranoid self. First time as well. Keep it up please!
Thank you man I appreciate it. The paint looks much better than in the pictures haha. I just would not be able to install the interior knowing the brackets were rusted. No one will see it but it would always haunt me.Much better looks greatnin from Georgia. Nice details
Was it prepped with just sandpaper? Looks great! Great build updates too!Thank you man I appreciate it. The paint looks much better than in the pictures haha. I just would not be able to install the interior knowing the brackets were rusted. No one will see it but it would always haunt me.
