Plans is to be there at Buccees.I want that FP3052 if you ever get rid of it. It's my favorite "bolt on" street turbo ever.
Really wanna see this car in person.
Thank you sir! It was $850; paint correction, ceramic coat, polished the glass and ceramic coated as well. Told him to not worry about the interior but he went ahead and did that as well. I am happy with it, don’t really have the time, drive or knowledge to get it the way he did. He was a big fan of the car, said the paint on it was way easier to work on then newer cars.Beautiful car. How much $ did that detail set you back?
Got the shifter base pulled and disassembled, need to clean it up before the rebuild.

Stock rebuild parts or aftermarket kit? Who did you go with?

I ordered the G-Dudes kit back in September knowing that his fulfillment as of late is spotty at best, going to reach out and see if I can get some movement. I do have all the OEM pieces as well, also thought about just pulling the plug on the GD kit and getting the DSM Creations. Decisions
Honestly if I had to do it over again, I'd do the DSM Creations one. I really have this feeling that the g-dude inserts on the transmission side of the shifting assembly will eventually seize in place. Think of bronze shift bushings and how badly they seize after awhile in the weather to the shifter arms. Now factor in you have bronze bushings in the actual lever mechanism too. I think those should be left OEM, and just use some good delrin shifter bushings for the trans, and the DSM creations kit for the shifter itself. WAY cheaper too. And it'll get to you in a week or less. I ordered from them recently and it came to me in less than a week. I asked them if I could pay extra for faster shipping, and the guy sent it to me via like 2 day shipping for no extra cost. It got to me in like 2 days total from order to in my hands.
American companies and individuals get my support here, especially when they don't ignore almost every avenue of message and takes MONTHS to ship a product you paid top dollar for.
Got the shifter parts cleaned up, degreased, wiped down with acetone and taped off. Plan is to paint tomorrow.
On another note, has anyone thought about using graphite powder versus a grease on the bushings/moving parts?
Also just should have sent this bi*** out to get blasted and coated
Edit. @Stapl3 Ordered mid September and shipped this week
