I have not seen my car for nearly two years, I have been in Oklahoma while it sits in Georgia, well I had my father replace the HG and have the head rebuilt so it runs now.

(Question)
When I first installed the MAFT like 3 years ago, I connected the white wire I think to one on the firewall that was for the RPM signal from the CAS. (did not want to directly tap into the wiring on the CAS. Thing is I could swear I read somewhere a few months back that if the car is a 1990, like mine, then your not supposed to connect that wire? Can anyone that knows for sure clarify?

I searched for this and found some install info on 91+ models but nothing specifically concerning my question for the 90.
