1990 1g gsx no start condition can't figure out why.

Drove the car home one night and then the next morning all I got was a click when I went to turn my car on.

Since then I have been through the forums on here trying to figure out why. Here's what I've tried so far.

I replaced two blown fuses but that didn't help. I messed with the clutch switch a little bit just to make sure it was making a noticeable click. Tested the battery. Replaced the ignition switch since I saw on here that worked for a few other guys. Tested the started and it came back bad so I had it warrantied out and replaced it but none of this has fixed the problem.

I can't seem to find anything else to look into and the car appears to get power to everything from what I can tell at a glance.

Check the starter with a multimeter. You should have 12v at the S terminal, which is the small connector, when you turn the key to the crank position. If your get voltage there your starter is bad.

starter is literally straight out of the box and installed new. The one I pulled out tested bad. I'm going to look into the starter relay tomorrow as well as getting a little more intensive with the clutch switch.

Are you getting voltage to the solenoid? Wouldnt hurt to check the resistance of the battery cable that goes to the starter.
