Sorry i had to post here but i tried posting in the bolt on but i couldnt... anyways i purchased a turbo today and i was wonder what the numbers on the casing meant... if someone could help me out please... thanks

If your manifold really does have cracks in it than it should be replaced, although I've never heard of a 2g manifold cracking... $25 is a scream'n deal for an evo three manifold though.

I'll try to post some pics of the cracks. I also purchased the evo 3 turbo but I noticed today when I was porting the housing that it has a few cracks in in too. Nothing I severe but I could notice them. How bad is that? So I should get the evo 3 manifold?

If you have an evo3 turbo or any 16g and you get that evo3 manifold (If you don't, I will hunt you down and beat you with it and ship it to Peeps for testing ), then you just need the seal ring . With this you'll need ZERO porting and a factory perfect transition from exhaust mani to turbo.

The other end however needs addressing. The 1g and 2g 02 housings are smaller in diameter than the 16g outlet. So your escaping exhaust gases will hit a brick wall. Not good for spool considering the proximity to the turbine wheel. . . The 02 housing will bolt up, but not perform like an evo3 o2 housing. which DOES have a large enough diameter to accomodate any 16g outlet.
