i got a 16g turbo with a parts car i bought. i put the serial number into google and it came up as a 16g out of a galant. guessing a small 16g. im swapping out my t25. looking threw threads it sounds like all i would need would be to buy a 2g turbo install kit from slow boy or something. of course i would also have the o2, manifold, and turbo ported as well. am i forgetting anything? the turbo also came still attached to the o2 housing looks a little bigger. will that bolt right up? supposedly it was in a 95 tsi at one point.

The only parts you'll need are a 1G hard metal oil supply line (to the head- don't run an MHI turbo to the filter housing unless you want it to burn oil) and a j-pipe. You can use all of your existing coolant lines, and slot the holes on your existing oil drain pipe to fit your 16G. Don't make these companies richer by buying an "Install Kit" that you don't need.

Your manifold and o2 housing will fit the 16G as well.

sorry ive been taking so long. just gathering the parts and money.
i noticed my turbo didnt come with a waste gate actuator. can i get another one of these or should i just do an external. i dont think id need the stock waste gate with an external. ive seen people just shave down the stock manifold for the external.

No need for an external gate on a Small 16G unless you're trying to achieve very high boost- and if that's your goal, you should have a bigger turbo to begin with...something that's more efficient with high boost.

I have lots of good used actuators as well as a pile of new ones here if you really need one.
