16g running out of wind?

Hey guys names matt and just bought my first dsm about a month ago. After hours of diagnosing and fixing the po's hack job I've got everything fixed with the exception of my throttle plate seals.my question is when I get on it my turbo will boost strong till around 5k and then it feels like it just runs out of lungs.is this typical of the 16g? I have upgraded my intercoolerpiping and am running a fmic, 2.5" o2 housing,dp, and exhaust with a gutted cat. I'm stillusing the stock injectors with an safc but am only boosting 16psi with an a/f of 10.9 to 11.2 at full boost. Any help on this would be appreciated

I've fixed all my boost leaks except the throttle plate o rings which aren't leaking that bad. The cylinder head only has 9k sand the bottom has 50k so naturally the compression test came out good.

Are you trying to compare mileage to compression test numbers?

Actual numbers are always best. The TB leaking means there is still a boost leak. Weird you are having close to the same issues as me I bet. Try a new TB gasket unless you know for sure it is the inside of the TB.

^^ Correct fix all the boost leaks first before blaming it on the turbo.

My 16g is at 22psi and wants to keep going. I agree fix ALL boost leaks.
