16g max boost with pump

so how much should i boost max with a 16g and fuel pump is 14 ok? I never had fuel cut at that range but just want to know how much I should boost max..

Well if you have a data logger tune to knock or if not I wouldnt go over 12-14psi. I run 11psi because at 13psi I had about 24 counts of knock in high gears. Im also running advanced timing. If you know how to tune your emanage, which im pretty sure you dont, because my bro has it and it is very difficult, you can run 17-22psi. My mechanic can tune everything even AEM but does not touch emanage. With your profile I would take you car in for a dyno tune, you should get 300+whp.

How do you know 14 is ok? Did you read the post before yours? Every car is going to be different, some will knock at 12 psi, and some won't knock until 15 psi. Get a logger.

your profile mentions injectors, but not what size. I'm running an evo316g right now at 20psi with my mods list, plus sbr fmic and smic cold air intake mod. I dunno how your evo3 is, but mine creeps to 20 no matter what, and when i had my vpc in, it would creep to 22-23. But maybe you got a nice port job...

On evo3 16Gs a fuel pump is needed up to 16psi, and after that the injectors come into play, @18psi on 16G 550s are recommended. But like a few others mentioned get a logger. As for the guy above me, externally gate it and your problem should be fixed, thats normally the problem with creep at high boost levels on 16Gs.

Hitting fuel cut has nothing to do with running out of fuel.

In my previous setup (s16g, 560cc injectors, greddy profec bc, fmic, walbro 255, vpc) i could push out about 16psi w/o any problems on pump gas. I have since upgraded to a 50 trim, innovate xd16 wideband o2 and am waiting on bigger injectors, fuel pressure regulator / gauge...
