just installed my new boost gauge and it reads 15 pounds and holds at that when i go into full boost is this correct for a bone stock gst?????? all i have in it is a cold air intake

Hi and welcome.

You've got some reading to do it seems. Yes a t-25 can make 15psi, but don't expect it to stay there to redline. If it somehow does, maybe you are lucky.

I don't know how much forum experience you have, I advise the search button now before you get yourself into trouble.

It's good that you got a boost gauge, most newbs just try to crank the boost and read off the stock gauge. If you're actually trying to run 15psi, you're going to want to get a logger (pocketlogger) of some sort. They're under 100 bucks and tell you exactly what's going on inside your engine. If you're trying to get the boost level back down to stock, look over your BCS (boost control solenoid) vacuum lines. If I remember correctly, there should be lines going from the compressor housing, to the wastegate, and to the intake elbow. Since you have an aftermarket intake elbow, I would look there first to see if your BCS is hooked up correctly. A previous owner may have hooked up a boost controller.

Oh yeah, and don't try to push past 15 psi on the t-25. I was running about 17-18 on mine, and it blew up. That's way out of it's range of efficiency.

i dont know if this post belongs here but earlier today i did this mod to my car, i ran a straight line from the turbo to the wastegate and it seems like it pulls much harder. this is momentary till i get me a mbc and gauge. will this in any way hurt the car ?

pm me and let me know any opinions
