So the other day I got on it and my 5 dollar boost controller fell apart while i was drivingLOL. I tried hooking the stock bcs up and now my car idles like shit and im getting only 5-7 pounds of boost. Plus it dosent seem like my bov is working when it was just working yesterday. and losts of comp. surge. I can hear it!
Ive done a boost leak already its fine.
Could this be because the wastegate is kinda stuck open just a little?

The wastegate stuck opens explains the small amount of boost.

But the BOV not working it does not. Do you have your vacuum lines connected properly? How are they routed?

ENSURE your vacuum lines are connected properly, typically something is setup wrong before a part failed (eBay boost controller not included). If the vacuum lines are hooked up properly then my best guess, without looking at your setup, is that your bov is from eBay as well and isn't holding boost. What you think is compressor surge is more than likely the bov blowing open and closed (soundling like surge) and leaking boost when it does only allowing you to build 7psi.

To ensure that all the air the turbos pushing is making it into the motor do a thorough boost leak test.

I was just about to replace the wastegate and I look up and I realize that the BOV vaccum line hose wasent connected at the intake haha fixed it right up:ohdamn:

:thumb: Go to the THREAD TOOLS drop down menu just above your original post and select RESOLVED. Put a ziptie on the line so it doesn't happen again, as well as all your other vacuum lines.
