The 1G coolant lines are meant to hook up to the water pipe and thermostat housing in different locations than the 2G lines. It's not a question of whether the lines fit the turbo or not- more of whether or not the lines fit the car.I don't understand, how does 14b water lines not line up with a 16g ? They are the same turbo all around with the major difference being the wheel size.
Yes the 14b and 16g lines will have to be modded to fit the 2g. I had the same problem I cant remenber what all I had to do but it wasn't bad (I had my engine out and on a stand) But for the water lines I ended up cutting them and bending them to fit around the turbo and just used rubber hose to connect the two ends!
