Some china bay 16g turbos don't have the same turbine wheel dimensions as the td05h MHI turbine wheel. Otherwise, they all appear larger in critical area than the stock 14b 6cm^2 housing, from what I've seen. And even look a little larger than the 7cm^2 MHI housing critical area. My blown one appears to have a better entry to the turbine blades as well.

It comes already ported at the inlet :) .

The WG hole is very small though :( .

You can't use a stock 14b actuator or 16g actuator with the knock off turbine housing without altering the actuator arm. The flapper arm sits out away from the housing farther with the knockoff housing.

Yea I heard some ebay housings bolt up to MHI and some don't.

Is it possible to use the ebay actuator on the MHI 14b? I ask this because the ebay is adjustable and looks to be in better condition than my 14b one.

That would work. They have the same bolt pattern. I was going to suggest getting one. I'm not sure how durable they are (diaphragm/spring), but I personally don't hear about ebay 16g actuators going out.

OR a holset actuator welded to the mhi actuator flange, to hold the boost very high :)
