hey,

im in the process of turbocharging my spyder 4g64 and i got most of the parts not it comes to the turbo i can choose between a t25 and 14b which one is better idk that much so help me out. Will the 14B fit the 2g gst manifold as a bolt on just like the t25 would? and what are the differences between the t25 and 14b.

i will appreciate it if you guys help me out.:hellyeah:

sounds like to me that the only reason that he wants to turbo the car is so he can hear the b.o.v venting to the atmosphere

I like the sounds going to the atmophere like u said can be heard from like 1 block away in the small city where i live everyone has like greddy BOV and HKS. I just read that if you dont do uncirculated way the car stalls and resitates runs rich which is bad than how come everyone has it with no prob? my brothers had a GST with a apexi BOV and never had a prob since it was open to the ia r any tricks has to be done for that to work??

maybe you should stop TRYING to be like everyone else. boy, did i hit the nail on the head..
you should just buy one of those electric turbos' and bolt it on with a b.o.v LOL.. the people on here are trying to help you do performance mods, and some will be mad that have replied ealier in your thread to help, and now to see that all the work you will do to your car just for the noise.
and when people see you comming down the road, and hear that.....they just shake their head and say "what an idiot"

^Who ran over your puppy?WTF

Just relax man:thumb:. The guy wants to turbo his car to make more power. He'd like it to sound good between shifts for all the effort. . . An aftermarket bypass valve that is recirculated CAN and HAS sounded louder than a 1g. Sounds like someone has never used an aftermarket bypass valve or done the dodge garage mod to his 1g piece:). Even my stock 1g bypass valve, after the mod was done, was loud in recirc format.

We run the 1g bypass valve because it's a quality piece. And with the right mod sounds great and can hold 30+ psi without a fuss.

You need a 1g turbo water pipe to run the water lines to the turbo. . .

ok where can i get the 1g water lines? can i buy the online ones braided lines? i dont want it THAT LOUD for the bov but i want to be able to hear it clearly since im putting all this work into my car i do want more power. so which BOV would you recomend to me and where should i get the 14b turbo water lines new>?

and thanks for understanding my point dsm-onster.

Classifieds. You need the 2g turbo water pipe, that usually includes the outer water line (one closest to front of car). If it doesnt' include that (it threads on/off) then you'll need to hut down that water line itself. Then you need the 2g turbo thermostat housing that has the nipple on it to feed the other waterline via rubber hose. Then you need the 2g inner water line (one closest to the motor).

They both have banjo bolts, makes sure these are included or pickup some new ones from a site vendor.

so i bought a 14B good turbo with a tiny shaft play but payed 100 and the oil feed, oil return and the 2 water lines are the same as the t25 lines right?

No, you need a 1g oil feed line and the return line can be modified slightly to fit the 14b. Coooolant lines are the same.

hey which one is better a used 14B with tiny shaftplay or a rebuilt turbo 14B with no shaft play ? like which one would probably last longer?

you are asking a ton of questions that have already been asked and answered multiple times. Use the search button. Its easy to just ask the question and wait for an answer but if your the type that does everything the easy lazy way then you probably shouldnt be modding.

Bro, no offense, and I love your car. But you need to use the "search" function a tad bit more.
