14b into a 20g? Really?

So I was looking around for a used 14b on ebay and stumble upon this...Turbocharger Compressor Housing + Wheel Mitsubishi EVO3 TD05H 20G Upgrade 14B | eBay

WTF? Can I really just switch out the compressor wheel and housing?

The CHRA has to machined out to accept the larger wheel, also you will need to replace the plate behind the wheel with one from a 16g or 20g.

No it is not true. The CHRA has to be machined to fit the 20g wheel. You can use that upgrade a big/evo3 16g.

Wow I started searching and I have a junk godspeed evo 16g laying around. Im thinking swapping out the 16g comp housing and comp wheel to the 14b. What else has to be swapped? the back plate?

The center housing. At which point you'll find out that the Mitsu bearings won't fit the knockoff housing, and the knockoff compressor wheel won't fit the MHI shaft.
