I am debating whether or not to do this mod or not. I know that the T25 is not the best turbo out there as everyone else knows too LOL. I was wondering if it is worth it to go ahead and put a 14b on there in place of teh T28; or should i just wait and get likea new 16g or T28? Help me out on this info please guys. I know a 14b would be alot cheaper, but would the 14b really make my 2g quite faster? Thanks.

you will noticed a diffrence between the 14b and the t-25 the 14b will not loose psi at 15...like the t25....and as 4 an upgrade is a great upgrade and u cant beet the price...there are people running 12's on a 14b

so id go w/ one if u had the chance... u will half to get a "J" pipe and mod your cooling lines and oil return line...but it would be worth it

hope it helps

If you're saving up for a 16g and can buy a good 14b for $100-$150, why not? If you're looking for about an extra 20 hp, that's what you'll get. Of course you'll have to get the necessary adapting parts to convert from a T-25 to a 14b/16g, but once you do decide to go 16g, your car will be ready in terms of direct bolt-on. Be sure your supporting mods are for a 16g though, since you will be upgrade in the near future from the 14b.

14B is definitely a worthwile mod. I did it and i never regretted it, went from loosing to srt4s to smoking n/a mustang gt's and c4 vettes with mods :thumb:

Yea I think i am going to. I know a guy who is selling everythign needed to install a 14b with all the lines and stuff for abotu $250. Shoudnt be that hard of a task to install, i think i can manage. I need to get my full exhaust done before i go that far. But thanks for the advice.
