Okay, so I am installing a 14b on my 2g. I am in the process of taking off the T-25, but I cant for the life of me get my O2 sensor off, does anyone have any ideas on a better way to do it? I cant get the heat shield off from around it so there just isn't much room in there, then I was taking off manifold bolts and I completely stripped one of them, I was so pissed that I came in here to ask you all what the heck I should do. I am doing all of this per a few write ups, but it is bugging the hell out of me. Anyone in the Southern California area wanna come over and help? I got cold New Castle and Bud in the Kitchen!! If any of you have any pointers on how to help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys..

I am out in oxnard, how far are you from me? I can come out and give you a hand later this week.

I just did this very same install to my 2g about a month ago, I got my heatshield off without getting the o2 sensor out, I just bent the heatshield enough to get it off.

I am close to Pasadena, I just moved to this area not too long ago, so don't know it too well, but according to Mapquest you are 70 miles from me. My lower heat shield has a hole in it where the O2 sensor is so it would be impossible to take it off with the O2 sensor on there, unless I were to cut it up, which I might end up doing.

easier to remove the heatshield with the o2 sensor on. Follow the wire to the harness at the left of the block. There is a 10mm bolt holding the harness in place. remove that, and you can pull the heat shield over it.

exactly, you have to unplug the o2 sensor harness.

If you can't get this figured out, pm me and we can arrange a time and I will come help you.
