14b, 16g, or T28 turbo?

Just browsing ebay and found this...

1. He claims that it's a "A GENUINE TDO5H MHI MITSUBISHI 16G TURBO FROM SLOWBOY RACING." What confuses me is that why would it use a 14b exhaust housing?

2. And if your read further regarding his description, he states that it's a T28 Turbo! - "THIS T28 MHI TURBO IS KNOWN FOR FAST SPOOLING AND YOU CAN RUN IT AT 20 LBS OF BOOST ALL DAY LONG" WTF

3. He now claims that it is in fact a stock 14b compressor housing, but it actually has a 16G compressor wheel blades.

I think that it's possible to use a 16G compressor wheel blade on a 14b w/ minor upgrades to the inner housing. However, why would he not post a compressor housing side showing the compressor wheel blades?

Just a heads up...make sure to double check and ask a few questions before purchasing something on ebay.

i was the top bidder but i retracted just because the fishiness of it. I mean even if a 14b $120 would had been a good price, witch was my bid. I just don't like the contradiction an no past seller feedback.


Edit: I think he may be hiking the price with a second account. look at the other bidder "londonarevalo" All his feedback is the same and from a "member" that no longer exist.

actually i have a hard time finding 14bs, even on ebay. If i could have found one earlier for 50 bucks i would have jumped on it. Ended up using a 13g i had laying around. Now im going to a Hx40...

as to the topic at hand, i dont think i would buy something from someone stating they altered the turbo when they clearly have no idea what they are doing.

well dam. looks like that guy ripped some one off good. bidding ended at $225.63. I tried to be a good person and forward the link to this thread to the winner but it denied my message. oh well, people should know better.
