Hi, I went to the track last friday and I ran a 14.9 with my tsi (A/T) it was very humid out thought and all the cars where running slow. My mods are s16g turbo, greddy i/c piping, greddy type-s bov, K&N intake, 3" downpipe, im still running threw the stock cat and catback. What do you think i could run with a full 3" exhaust and a walbro 255?

Was this 2.0 60' with your AWD?

Tomeek must have not seen that you are not in a FWD, but indeed an AWD car.

A 2.0 50' in an Automatic with street tires in stock form is pretty good for an AWD. Tomeek, you would not get a 2.0 in a FWD car with an automatic and stock suspension.

There was just a missunderstanding is all. :thumb:

No, that was with my FWD A/T. I had a Level 10 tranny with an upgraded stall converter. 2.0 60fts were pretty hard but not impossible. There was a day I pulled prolly 2 or 3 in the same day. I could do 2.1s and 2.2s easily. It's all about learning how to feather the throttle and how to drive a FWD. My AWD in my profile is a 5 speed and I pull 1.7 60s with the stock pressure plate and a custom disk. Don't really want a better 60ft than that.

I might go out to storage and try and dig out my timeslips. I have not raced that FWD A/T in over a year. All the money right now is going into the AWD.

**Edit** I also did have upgraded struts but the springs were stock on the FWD A/T

Please don't take offense when I say that but I had an A/T FWD before and I ran 2.0 60fts all day long on street tires.

Ohhh nice witty reply newbie. Did you even read the posts. I didn't have a clutch on the car because it was an AUTOMATIC. Maybe you should spend more time trying to improve your coveted 2.45 60ft and less time trolling the boards trying to win the worlds biggest asshat award.
this is why some people don't like dsmtuners.com, because of whiny little people like you, that give stupid replies like that... I wonder how old you are, since mature people would not respond like this!!! now I'm not gonna reply any of your messages since flame wars are not aloud...
...edit... now you are mentioning all of this ... build tranny and so on, but when i said that this must be some good street tires, you cryed ... instead of telling us earlier that you have all that stuff :thumbdown
so back to the thread... my95tsi good answer :thumb:

Other than the stall converter the built tranny really does not do much for the first 60ft. The first 60ft really is really determined by your ability to drive a FWD. The built tranny allows for me to be able to support the additional hp the car was putting out. People don't come to dsmtuners because of trolls and bench racers who have been on the board for a couple months and think that it is some sort of challenge to start crap. Don't act like your trying to take the high road here. Your very first post was to take a shot at my 60ft acting like I was telling a lie. Thats why you put the little  icon next to your comment. Then your comments after that were all to take a shot at me. This last post you have is the FIRST time you have even address the guys comments and all you did is post that you agree with someone else. If you have nothing to add to this other than "I agree" or the crap that you are starting then why did you come in here in the first place? I might not be the nicest person on this board but I do not go into threads just to start crap and accuse people of nonsense.

P.S. I'm no kid and I do not act like one. I'm not the one who came in here just to try and get a little attention. People on this board respect you for contributing to a post not for taking the cheapest shot in a thread.

BTW after reading the beginning of this thread I realized that he said he is running a S16G turbo. I really do think the exhaust is part of the problem. The Hahn 16G runs a 10cm exhaust housing. When I ran the S16G on my FWD I noticed sugnifigantly more lag than most people with 16s with 7cm housing. While the Hahn can be a lag monster there are ways to over come it especially in an A/T. Off the line power braking is the key. Get your boost up off the line and you should be able to get real nice 60fts. Get your 60ft down to 1.8 and open up the exhaust and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

With some upgrades I wouldn't doubt the 2.0 60ft he's saying on a FWD auto tomek.
But there is a topic and it has already been answered.
Thank you both for submitting your imput and can you please drop this between you two.
