13g fit on 2g 4g63 ? What is Nessesary?

Hi, well I got a used turbo of a friend of mine which i thought was a 14b but yesterday when taking a good look at it noticed it was a td04hl 13g turbo. 25 dollars so oh well. I go the turbo,manifold,02 housing and BOv. What I was wondering if it would fit my 2g and what mods would have to be done to make it fit? My t25 is gone so i need the replacement. Your thoughts on this matter would be helpful. thanks

I don't know if it would even be worth it. You could find a 14b in the classifieds for pretty cheap and just install that.

Hell, I'd sell you mine but I'd feel guilty about selling a turbo with too much shaft play.

Do not use that turbo. You will need a completely new exhaust manifold flanged for a TD04. Sell it or take the loss and find either a 14b, replacement T25, or some other turbo which will actually bolt up to your exhaust manifold you currently have.

I have the manifold for that turbo would it make a difference?

Since 1g autos came with that turbo, it should bolt right up, aye? Anyway, it'll be an upgrade from the T25, but not much of one

The mods needed will be the almost the same as any other 14b, 16g 2g install. The only difference is that you will have to get an oil feed line specifically for the 13g. The 14b oil feed line and banjo bolt are larger than the 13g so your best bet would be to go to mitsu and buy a new oil feed for a 1g auto along with banjo bolts and copper crush washers. You will also need the plug to go in the oil filter housing where the stock 2g feed goes because the new feed is from the head.

If I recall correctly, the 1G auto manifold is different because the hole is offset.
