My car had a 13g turbo on it when I took the motor apart. I am in the process of putting the motor back together now, and I have decided to keep that turbo on there for a while because it has minimal side to side play and no in/out play. I want some piece of mind for reliability so I am choosing to replace all the turbo lines. My question is what lines (oil feed/drain, coolant) should I buy for this turbo on a 2g car? I am not sure how they had it on there before. But if I remember right some of the lines were bent to fit.

Thanks!

-Also, does anyone know where I can find a cheap/used wastegate for this turbo? Will any mitsu one work, or does it have to be specifically from a 13g?

Any 13G, 14B, or 16G actuator will work.

You're throwing your money away by purchasing new lines for such a small turbo that doesn't belong on your car to begin with. If the lines that are on there are working fine, there's no need to replace them. You're going to spend $100+ on new factory oil and coolant lines that could be better-spent elsewhere.

Clean your lines up, maybe give them a fresh coat of paint if they're a little rusty...but a used, bent piece of metal is going to flow the same as a new, bent piece of metal.

I definitely agree with you. But I really don't have the time or money to change it out now. I just need my car running again.

This is what I was thinking but I wanted some opinions from people that know more about this stuff. I might replace the oil return line, and perhaps the feed line just to be safe though. I also should mention it's oil was set up to feed from the oil filter housing. Should I change this and have it feed from the head? It's been this way since before I got the car and it ran fine like that for over a year with me.
