I don't know, guys. I thought I would be a little faster than that. My 60ft was a 2.3, my best being a 2.2 but that was last year. I didn't build the car for drag, but for the road-course, yet I still thought there was more in it. Is that a decent time for a FF on pump? The boost was 19psi. What annoyed me was my friend with an AWD auto trapped the same MPH as me, but was running high-12's. Ha! I understand why, but it still bugged me.

I can launch the car; however, what I cannot stop is the wheel-hop. No matter what I do. I have a WaveTrac L.S.D., polly mounts, Koni/GC's, Star-specs, (not drag tires) and I burned out. No matter WHAT I did, I could not fully get out of the hole. In first gear, I was always on/off the throttle to control the hop. I also had the tire-pressure at 22psi. I was thinking maybe 18ish or lower next time?

I've always wanted to run high-12's on pump with this car. Apparently, I am far from it. I'm going to re-tune the car for more boost today. Drag-racing is frustrating.

Try lowering your tires psi by 5 each run and see if your 60 food gets better, i wouldnt go below 15 though, it will actually start hurting your mph if you do. Good luck, if it was easy it wouldnt be fun!

Good idea. I have a nice technique with launching, but the hop would just kill everything. That was making me so mad. I was thinking of turning the boost up to around 24 today since that's where the Evo3 is the most efficient if I remember right. On my old Crower cams, I ran 24psi on pump. Now with these FP2's, I would knock at 20. I pulled more timing, but I was still shocked at how much I had to pull. That turbo wakes up a lot after 20psi. I guess those FP2's do much more work than the Crowers.

Those traps are good for mid to low 13's with a decent 60'. You need to break the 110-112 mph mark to hit 12's in a front wheel drive without sticky tires. Wheel hop will blow your differential out of the tranny. Good luck.
