I just rolled over 1k on my 6 bolt rebuild and I just did a compression test. First off my engine has ross 8.5:1 pistons/1g big rods rebuilt 2g head, factory injectors, 190lph fuel pump, stock smic, and eIII 16g at 15 psi. When I pulled all of the plugs out, they were all white tipped (lean condition I belive, correct me if im wrong) and I got these readings, (1-4)
178,172,178,180. Do you think that by me running lean cyl 2's compression dropped, because I have read that cyl 2 gets the least amount of fuel. For now Im going to turn down the boost until I get a wideband o2, 750 cc injectors and dsm link in a month or 2

Steve your ok. Its normal to see the plugs still white but im sure your running a little lean with the stock injectors. I would turn down the boost to 13 psi untill you have a good fuel system and something to tune with as well as a FMIC. I would not bother with an EGT gauge go straight for a wideband. Those compession # seem great if you really had an issue with #2 cylinder you would know it would read alot lower than that. Your fine.

Thanks for the reassuring response, :thumb: its been raining here the last few days but Ill drop the boost down to 13 when the weather clears up. I should have my fuel system and fmic within 2 months so I can up the boost safely.
